Golf Locker (formerly Golf Equipment Closeouts) was already a large online retailer of golf shoes and apparel by FootJoy Nike and Adidas. But after several years of steady growth they were getting totally overwhelmed by the management chores of their online business and not gaining enough ground on their largest competitors. It was time for them to go big. They came to us. “We looked at web developers for over two years and never felt enough trust to invest what we knew it was going to take to get us to the next level” says Bart Patterson, Golf Locker CEO. “Then I saw the new Rampage site and was blown away and contacted A Far Site Better immediately.” Once we met them and saw their eCommerce platform, their truly easy to use site management, marketing and content management tools and spoke with their other clients, we were totally sold and finally took the big leap.” Now that the site has launched the results have been immediate. Sales are way up, customer support calls are way down and Golf Locker now spends over 50% less time managing their site and a lot more time building their business. After just one month the new site is getting far better natural search engine placement than their old site did after three years because of our integrated Search Engine Optimization toolset. “I knew this new site was going to change our business, but I never imagined it would improve the quality of my life. For the first time in over three years I went out for a leisurely lunch knowing everything was taken care of. I actually stopped worrying for a little while. I love that more than I can tell you.” states Patterson, “Sometimes good things come to those who wait, but I still wish I met A Far Site Better a lot sooner!" |

Diamondback Fitness required an attractive website to showcase their personal and professional lines of fitness equipment to their potential customer base, a 60 – 70% female demographic. They had seen our work. Their confidence in us was overwhelming. They essentially turned over all aspects of design, production and execution to us, carte blanche. We met their needs with a beautifully illustrated site that set off their product in an accessible and health-conscious light. Built into the site is a special section where Diamondback dealers can log in and download specs and manuals, as well as have their questions answered by Diamondback personnel. |

Alo, which stands for Air, Land and Ocean chose A Far Site Better to develop their online marketing presence for this completely new brand of active wear manufactured by Color Image, Inc. in Los Angeles. As the main "worldwide showroom" for this line it was essential that the clothing be displayed in a way that online users can really see and experience the product,, both in fit and detail. Employing our award-winning patent pending realZOOM technology and making maximum use of our extremely powerful yet easy-to-use admin and content management tools, the staff launched the site in record time. Alo's initial plan was to add ecommerce after one year, but decided after just one-week to add it as soon as possible after a flood of requests to directly purchase product. The website also ties in directly to their manufacturing system so customers can get real-time price and availability. All we can say is so far, so good! |

Raleigh America entrusted us with the task of giving them a web presence worthy of their industry stature. Raleigh bicycles are some of the most recognized and respected cycles in the industry. Their site, however, did not successfully reflect their status or even represent their newest and hottest products. Having worked with us before on other projects, they gave us carte blanche to recreate their site complete with the successful user features of our platform that we'd developed that their competitors didn't have. We decked their new highly functional and feature-rich site with lifestyle pictures galore, making maximum use of their existing assets all the while giving their employees the ability to modify virtually anything on their site with zero knowledge of HTML or programming required. |

World renowned for their wide selection and unrivaled deals, bicycle retailer Supergo was a natural fit into e-commerce, complementing their numerous retail stores and mail order business with their first rudimentary website in 1997. With moderate online success compared to their competitors, the writing was on the wall. Despite 20 years of brick and mortar experience, great potential growth would pass them by if they couldn't compete online. Supergo came to us looking for a more robust and scaleable way to do business online, and we answered with an award-winning web presence vastly superior to any of their competitors. Supergo's great online success had required site expansion three times in four years to meet the ever-increasing volume growing from under $800,000 a year to $1 million a month. This helped lead to the sale of the business in 2003 and the movement of all operations to the Southern US. With its award-winning ease-of-use, professional design, and above all, measured profitability, Supergo.com proved that expanding the business focus of a 25-year-old company to include an online presence creates not only great online sales, but huge increases in foot traffic into their retail stores. Their success was a source of enduring pride for the company before its sale and for us. It is a testament to client satisfaction and a clear indication of what we feel is "e-commerce done right." |

SageMetrics, a leading business intelligence provider for online & offline data mining for companies like Phillips, L'Oreal, Gucci and The Washington Post, had a big problem. It seemed that nobody could figure out what their company did by visiting their website, even though they had spent a fortune having their site developed through another web company. Then they called us. We realized that, with the competitive landscape of technology constantly changing, it is crucial for a company to properly communicate their products features and benefits. It becomes essential for a company to update their own websites instantly – to add content, to make changes – even to change what is prominently featured on their home page. Our award-winning Content Management System (CMS) allows Sagemetrics' staff to modify virtually anything on their site with no programming skills and no knowledge of HTML. |

Diamondback Bicycles are recognized as Best of Breed in their industry, enjoying top brand recognition…but they sorely lacked an equivalent web presence. In calling us to redesign their site, they gave us free reign. Their only request was to show the invigorated spirit of the newly acquired corporation with a site worthy of their industry stature. A Far Site Better built on the success of their brand, and gave their customers proven features such as our "bike advisor" and the ability to compare bikes across all product lines. Our Content Management System (CMS) lets their staff modify virtually anything on their site with no programming or HTML knowledge whatsoever. It is the use of our award-winning patent pending realZOOM technology though that has been a huge hit with their customers and has proven to be a great differentiator between them and their competitors. |

They came to us with a poorly designed, static site that wasn't serving their needs. It was bogged down with enormous files (many of the graphics were actually scans of the printed pages in the catalogue), errant navigation, and worst of all, SPSCPA employees were absolutely unable to modify, correct, or update the site in any way. We responded with an award-winning, functional, and easy-to-update site, which positions them as a mid-size Los Angeles firm offering large-scale services with intensely local flavor. The most surprising aspect of the site's success came in the discovery that, not only was it very efficacious in recruiting new employees, it was actually attracting the best & brightest grads to work at their firm! |

As one of the pioneer brands in BMX, Diamondback BMX Bikes enjoy top brand recognition and status in their industry. However, they sorely lacked a credible web presence. We provided them with an edgy site. This gave them credibility with their young and web-savvy male demographic and gave them a reason to come back often. We built in many of our proven features and developed several proprietary new ones to help build their online success. The new "Team" section of the site has been a huge success, not just with their end-users, but also with the riders themselves. Many of the riders actively communicate with their fan base through the site, raising site traffic to record levels. As always, our extensive Content Management System (CMS) allows their staff to modify virtually anything on their site with no programming skills and no knowledge of HTML. |

Gail Melichar, a custom jewelry designer was big on creativity and talent and her pieces are owned by celebrities such as Halle Berry and Sandra Bullock, she had to rely solely on word-of-mouth to generate new sales. She came to us looking for a way to give her small operation a bigger presence and a more professional image that could compete with the major brands. JewelsbyGem.com is the result. The website won two web design awards within a month of its launch and more since then. With a web design that is as elegant as the products it promotes, the site has helped to generate sales domestically and internationally, and has garnered the attention of jewelry magazines and industry professionals. |

Sur la Table has been offering a plethora of fine equipment for cooks and professional chefs since 1972. With thousands of products in their store to choose from, customers can spend hours taking it all in and letting Sur la Table's professional staff point them in the right direction. They had a website, but they were drowning in maintenance chores. Also, although they had knowledgeable professionals, they were saddled with having to make cross-sell product recommendations manually for every item, all without the luxury of speaking to a customer face-to-face. We changed all that. By writing and implemented successful best practices techniques they were finally able to easily maintain consistency throughout their site. We also implemented BSelect personalization allowing them to successfully offer (and maintain) effective site wide cross-sell recommendations with conversion rates that are tops in their industry. |
